THE JOURNEY

If I told you of my JOURNEY, would You love me ever still?

Would Your heart still have a broken place for me . . .?

My eyes with tears are filled, all I ask is that You hear

Please don’t turn from me, my life’s forever Yours

All the years and past behind me, Lord it’s taken me so long

Though I stumbled through this world You brought me home

My path was never easy it was all of my own will

I had never ever felt so all alone

Storming down a road that took me far away from You

I was seeking anything that did me harm

I burned with all my questions never listening to Your Word

Then Grace crushed me when You held me in Your arms

Thank You Lord a million times for love I’ll never comprehend

Holy Spirit be my Guide, be my Friend

You have opened all my skies, forgiven me my doubts and fears

I’m alive and now my JOURNEY has no end!
